The left Rhone-shore along Quai Victor Augagneur in the 3rd arrondissement of Lyon, between the two bridges Pont Wilson on the left and Pont de la Guillotière on the right side of the panorama.Obviously here the shore is a prominent meeting point and entertainment area, along the quai we can see several excursion boats that also serve as bars and restaurants. The quai is named after the former mayor of Lyon (1900-1905) and minister of France Victor Augagneur.
In the left background we can see two skyscrapers, Tour Incity and Tour Part-Dieu, in the business district La Part-Dieu. the prominent building with a tower on the right side is the Palais de la Mutualité on the square Place Antonin-Jutard, which was errected in 1913 after plans of the architect François Clermont.
