A former industry building in Gutenbergstrasse in Crimmitschau, redesigned during the ibug 2014. During the ibug festival about 100 international artists participate with street art works in old industrial buildings. In this panorama we see works by: Bianca (Zid Visions), Julia Humpfer, Majilina and Emma Bertoldi.
This street block view stretches along Gutenbergstrasse (formerly Alberstrasse) between Hohlstrasse on the left and Erzbergstrasse (formerly Augustusstrasse) on the right. This area was formerly known as the Schönfeldsche Gelände and most buildings belonged to the family Schönfeld. During GDR times the building belonged to the VEB Volltuchwerke Crimmitschau (Textile Industry).
This panorama was published in cooperation with the ibug – Festival für urbane Kunst. We also thank Mr. Otto of the Heimatverein Crimmitschau e.V. and the press office of the city Crimmitschau for the background recherche on the building. Lizensing requests or art prints can only be realized in agreement with the ibug.
