In 2013, the ibug festival was held in the former Zwickau ironworks on Leipziger Straße in the north of the city. In the panorama, we see a disused factory building that appears to date back to the GDR era. In 2013, the urban art festival ibug (short for Industriebrachenumgestaltung) once again invited international artists to Saxony to create a Gesamtkunstwerk in old industrial halls over several weeks in the summer.
