Since 2020 we have been dealing with the topic of virtual exhibitions and have also written an overview article on virtual exhibition tools for Artists, Freelancers and Curators.
But of course this work has also resulted in our own virtual exhibition projects, which we want to summarize for you on this overview page.
Industrial Architecture in Saxony
Our first exhibition is a partial realization of the project “Industrie.Kultur.Bauten” which was shown in September 2020 in the main station of Leipzig. In the virtual version we have limited ourselves to the industrial buildings and give an overview of Saxon industrial architecture with corresponding texts on Saxon industrial history and the special topic Leipzig. Additionally we show unfinished views of industrial buildings. You can move freely through the exhibition created with the app “Artsteps” and click on the panoramas for more info.

Saxony Street Fronts
Our second project is an attempt to create a kind of walkable city (labyrinth) from our panoramas, through which you can move freely, discovering new city views all the time. For this we have chosen a diverse selection of views from Dresden, Leipzig, Chemnitz but also smaller cities like Werdau, Großschönau, Grimma, Aue or Görlitz. Some views were created especially for the exhibition, among others from the baroque town of Schneeberg on its 550th anniversary and from Freital on the 100th anniversary of the town’s founding.

Both these projects have been prepared in cooperation with the campaign Simply Saxony.
