Another streetscape of the Rue de Rivoli in Paris, the major east-west magistrale north of the Seine river. This is the complete 600 metre stretch between the Rue du Louvre (left) and the Boulevard de Sebastopol (right). We had created a large section of this street view before, in 2011, as you can see in our original Rue de Rivoli panorama (including additional info). Furthermore there is still material left to prolong it to the left.
This panorama was shot on the 30th of june 2014 during the round of 16 world cup game between France and Nigeria, but before France made its first goal (ultimately France won 2:0). This might explain why the street was largely free of cars, still, as you can see, there were enough pedestrians around, interested in shopping on Rue de Rivoli.
