The Town Hall and the Marketplace of the small town Zeulenroda in Thuringia (dt. Thüringen). It was built from 1825 to 1827 in neoclassicistic style after plans of the industrialist Christian Heinrich Schopper. The town hall bears a Themis statue, honoring the greek goddess of justice. Zeulenroda has about 13.500 inhabitants and was merged with smaller city Triebes in 2006, forming Zeulenroda-Triebes. On the marketsquare you will also find the Karpfenpfeifer-Fountain (left in the image).
