The Schiffbauerdamm (english: ship builders dam) is a street on the right bank of the Spree in Berlin Mitte. Historical this has been an area of ship builders. We see the part between Friedrichsstrasse and the S-Bahn bridge. The most interesting building here is the Theatre on the Schiffbauerdamm, stage of the Berlin Ensemble, which can be seen in the centre on the small square.
