The so called Ringbebauung along the Rossplatz, part of Leipzigs’ inner city circle. This huge building actually takes a curve along the ring, which is not visible in this street facade panorama. It was built in the 1950s in the socialistic classizism style as a prestige project of the GDR, which wanted to demonstrate it can built “palaces” for its workers. This panorama is a part of a bigger street panorama showing the whole section up till the Augustusplatz further to the left.
There are more Leipzig streets we photographed in our archive, which you can find by yellow markers on our worldmap. In case you are interested in us creating a streetline montage for one of these streets please contact us.
