This is the westside view of the Piazza di Spagna in Rome. It is exactly the street front that you see when you come down the spanish steps from the church Trinità dei Monti. In italian the steps are called Scalinata della Trinità dei Monti. The square itself has a triangular shape and is named after the Spanish Embassy to the Holy Sea. In the middle of the square one can find the famous fountain “Fontana della Barcaccia”. The street in the middle of the Panorama is the Via dei Condotti, leading towards the river Tiber.
