This street block of the Neuer Wandrahm is part of the Speicherstadt area of Hamburgs Port (Hamburger Hafen). The Speicherstadt was errected starting in 1883 on the islands Wandrahm and Kehrwieder. The Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) resides with its headquarter in this street.
