Merchant’s Street (or maltese Triq il-Merkanti) is placed inside the old center of La Valletta, the capital of Malta. The city has around 320 monuments in only 55 hectares and it is a Unesco World Heritage Site since 1980. Merchant’s street runs through the middle of the city, displaying old and new shops, markets and palaces. We see the northside of the street between St. Lucia’s Street and Old Theatre Street.
