Weiden in der Oberpfalz is a small town in Bavaria, which like many other german cities grew heavily during the industrialization around 1900. While the city centre outgrew its boundaries new architectural styles of the times appeared. In Kettelerstrasse (its westside in the panorama) we can find Art Nouveau buildings, thanks to the master builder Lorenz Kubizek who arrived here from munich and realized a line of buildings.
More info on listed buildings and architecture in Weiden can be found in this list (german), including additional info on the Kettelerstraße and two of the buildings and facades in this panorama.
