A street block view of the Quai du Port with the City Hall of Marseille (Hotel de Ville) along the northern shore of the Vieux-Port of Marseille. Most of the old town area north of the old port of Marseille had been torn down by the germans during world war II and was later replaced by modern blocks like the one right of the City Hall in this image. The block at the far right was the only historic block that survived on this side.
