The complete north front of the Hans-Lilje-Platz (square) in Hanover, opposite of the Marktkirche (church) of Hanover. The historic building in the centre, in the style of north german brick gothic, is now the Hanns-Lilje-House and forms a hotel and convention-centre of the Evangelical-Lutheran Church of Hanover together with the buildings left of it. It is also the seat of a number of institutions of the church. The square and the building are named after the former Bishop of Hanover Hanns Lilje (1899-1977).
