The eastern front of the Domplatz in Erfurt, the thuringian capital. The panorama shows buildings from differents styles and times. At the right end of the image you can see the historical buildings Grüne Apotheke and the Gasthaus zur Hohen Lilie. The square is named after the Erfurter Dom and it was originally smaller. But in 1813 during the siege of the french in the city the Severi-Quarter on the northern parts of the square was completely destroyed.
