The eastern side of Camden High Street between the Camden Town tube station and the bridge over Regent’s Canal. We see a major part of the Camden Market along its main street. The Camden Market (also called Camden Lock) is one of London’s major tourist attractions nowadays. Especially on weekends tourists flock the place, entering the market through the Camden Town Tube Station, walking up Camden High Street northwards over the Canal bridge and spreading into the stables and surrounding areas, all crowded with shops and stalls. The stalls market with the green “Camden Market” sign in the centre of the street panorama is the Buck Street Market, focussing on clothes. The small red building with the “Ballroom” sign a little bit more to the right is the Electric Ballroom, an indoor market, also used as a night club.
We published two sections of this Camden Town panorama separately in edited versions. So you can also find our panoramas of Camden High Street 202-224 and Camden High Street 226-250.
