The Train Station in Geithain along Eisenbahnstrasse, about 400 metres north of the market square of Geithain – a small town of about 5.000 inhabitants in the Freestate of Saxony. The train station lies in the centre of the train line Leipzig – Geithain – Chemnitz. The building was errected starting in 1869 and from 1872 trains were going towards Chemnitz.
